There are three components for the surgical procedure of vasectomy reversal. These include the fees for the surgeon, anesthesia and the facility where the surgery is performed. Using an affiliated, highly accredited surgical facility for his outpatient vasectomy reversal cases, Dr. Bastuba is able to offer the procedure at a lower cost than some of other surgeons performing vasectomy reversals.
$7,556*
*Price is based on surgery at Alvarado Surgery Center (dated 02/15/07). Exact fees depend on outpatient surgery center location where procedure is scheduled.
Our fee schedule is easy to understand
and there won’t be any surprises
or hidden cost added later on. If there are additional procedures or tests
necessary, Dr. Bastuba’s staff gives a written
estimate before the procedure is undertaken to make sure that
you have a full understanding of the cost.
A $ 1,200 non-refundable deposit will be due at time of scheduling the procedure.
The full payment is due two weeks prior to procedure (unless other payment options are chosen). The surgery center and the anesthesiologist require full payment at the time of surgery.
As a benefit to our patients, we will contact your medical insurance to confirm available coverage of diagnosis and treatment. The majority of medical insurance covers mostly procedures and diagnostic tests related to infertility treatment. Advanced fertility treatments such as vasectomy reversal or IVF are not covered by most insurance carriers.
If you do not have insurance coverage for your vasectomy reversal procedure, we also have attractive payment options available. We also accept cash, check, and the credit cards Visa and Mastercard. We recommend to keep track of your out-of-pocket medical expenses. Annual medical expenses that exceed 7.5% of your total adjusted gross income are tax deductible. This includes travel expenses and meals associated with the medical treatment. Go to Publication #502 on www.irs.gov or ask your tax advisor.

15% Discounted Plan - Full payment by cash, check or credit card 2 weeks prior to procedure.
